The official website of Modern Warplanes: PvP Warfare for Android has just released an updated version that adds a new player control option, “VR Zoom,” as well as new aircraft and weapon improvements. In order to be able to play the mod on your mobile phone you will need a Google Android device, or any other device that can connect to the internet. Once you have downloaded the mod and installed it you will find that you are in control of your aircraft with new weapons and equipment that allow you to engage in dogfight combat, aerial refueling, ground attacks, and even dog fighting with opponent players. This is a very exciting update that gives any World War II enthusiast a chance to get into the action once again.
The game’s interface is clean and simple, and provides plenty of detail for any avid gamer. One thing you will quickly notice, however, is that it isn’t as fully featured as some of the more popular games on today’s mobile devices. For instance, the graphics are quite basic, which is expected for an airplane simulation game, but you won’t find any spectacular images or background music. Still, this is definitely a good thing, because it means the download will be quick and easy. Other than that, though, the game itself is excellent.
The one glaring glitch of the mod at this time is that Google is not yet allowing users of the game to upload their own aircrafts for download. Developers of the game are working on adding these capabilities, which should resolve the problem fairly soon. If you’d like to fly your very own plane in the game, you can search for and download the aircrafts as well as the accompanying manuals. When you first install the mod you will be given a tutorial teaching you the basics of flying and combat. You can also request a combat flight if you’d rather practice combat from the comfort of an aircraft carrier.
Google has also not yet made available the aircrafts and the accompanying manuals for download on the Android Market. In the next few weeks, however, they should make that availability. If you want to fly fighter planes in the game, you’re going to need to have the correct aircraft. Unfortunately, none of the manufacturers are currently producing modern aircraft for use in the game. Fortunately, the game does allow you to download a pre-owned aircraft to fly in the game, which is a bit different than flying in real life. Google is probably holding out until more modern aircraft become available for download, so owners of the now outmoded aircrafts in the game will probably have to wait until then.

There are a number of flight simulator download websites on the Internet that are actually compatible with the game. These websites allow users of the game to download the aircrafts available, as well as the manuals. So if you are in need of flying jets in the game, you may not have to wait too long to download the aircrafts available.
The game does have its problems, however. First of all, Google has not yet committed to supporting any additional aircraft in the future. This is a bummer, especially since we know that Google is working on getting more mobile devices into the Android market. If they do, this could mean an even greater array of aircrafts and more interesting missions. For now, it looks like PvPursions for Android is going to be a game that is played within the game alone. For those who want to play aircrafts on their mobile devices, this is a great alternative to playing them on your PC or gaming console.
